This guide focuses on the wildlife in the northern Rocky Mountain/Absaroka regions, which includes Glacier, Yellowstone and Grand Teton National parks. Each guide comes in the form of a handmade book that your child can add to when they receive pages about a new animal species, or want to include their own notes.

There are no rules, just interesting information about where the animals live, what they eat, their habits and little known facts. The book includes beautiful photos and illustrations, a personal story about specific animals, games and space to draw or write notes.

The beginning packet includes the book in a sturdy box for safe keeping, informational pages about viewing wildlife, weather, map, etc.,  a tin for displaying framed magnetic images that come each month, colored pencils and a twig pencil, along with the first packet of information on one species.

After you receive the initial book, a new packet of information will be sent each month and it will include details about the animal, a framed magnet photo, a post card, an ornament and a blank ornament for them to decorate. Each month your child will receive a new sticker packet related to the animals.

All pages are printed on authentic and heavy sketch paper and the front and back covers are hard to protect the contents. The book is easy to take apart for adding more pages.
